Highway pavement layer being compacted by a vibratory roller during a corridor upgrade
Service

Roads & Highways

Corridor earthworks, pavement construction and drainage delivered under live-traffic conditions.

Overview

Road packages are won or lost on earthworks productivity and drainage. We plan haul routes, borrow and disposal areas and rainy-season shutdowns before mobilisation, then hold the pavement layers to specified density and level tolerance.

On live corridors, traffic management is designed as part of the works — signed diversions, flagging, night working windows and community notification — so that construction does not transfer risk to road users.

Capabilities

  • Corridor clearing, cut-to-fill earthworks and slope stabilisation
  • Subgrade preparation, granular sub-base and base course
  • Bituminous surfacing: DBM, AC and surface dressing
  • Rigid pavement and concrete carriageway sections
  • Roadside drainage, culverts, causeways and cross-drainage works
  • Gabion, breast and retaining walls in hill terrain
  • Road furniture, marking, signage and safety barriers

Typical project types

  • Strategic road network upgrading and widening
  • Urban roads, junctions and municipal streets
  • Hill and mountain road construction
  • Rural and feeder road packages
  • Access roads for energy and industrial projects
Delivery process

How the work is sequenced.

Every stage has a defined output and a named owner. Nothing moves to the next stage on assumption.

  1. 01

    Survey and setting out

Topographic re-survey, alignment verification, cross-sections and quantity reconciliation against the tender drawings.

  2. 02

    Method and traffic planning

Haul route selection, plant deployment, traffic management drawings and community notification before any lane closure.

  3. 03

    Earthworks and drainage

Cut and fill in controlled layers with compaction testing, slope protection and drainage installed ahead of the wet season.

  4. 04

    Pavement layers

Sub-base, base and bituminous layers laid to specified thickness and density, verified by field density and core testing.

  5. 05

    Finishing and handover

Shoulders, furniture, marking and as-built survey, followed by the defect liability and maintenance period.

Equipment & expertise

What we bring to site.

  • Motor grader and vibratory roller fleet with GPS-guided levelling capability
  • Asphalt supply through owned or contracted batching capacity
  • Field density (sand replacement / nuclear gauge) and CBR testing
  • Slope stability assessment in hill sections
  • Night-working and staged lane-closure delivery

Quality & safety

The controls that apply to this work.

  • Layer-by-layer compaction records signed before the next layer is placed
  • Certified traffic management plans with trained flaggers on every live section
  • High-visibility PPE and plant proximity exclusion zones
  • Dust suppression and haul-route watering as a standing site control
